Catch up

Once again it's been a long time since I last posted. And there have been some major changes being put into place.

I am leaving work next week. I have taken voluntary severance and finish work on Friday 27th May. I'm really looking forward to it although I will miss people here. I haven't got anything set in stone for when I leave but I have forwarded an application form to Southampton Libraries to volunteer with them. It will be excellent to be able to volunteer with them and they do have a lot of current opportunities due to budget cuts etc. Not only will it tick of my goal of working in a library which I was originally wanting to do before I was 30 and beginnign to think I wouldn't manage it (30 in oct) but it will also give me valuable experience for if I decide to the Library Management MA.

In a week and a half's time I'm going to be doing another goal. I am going to London to see a recording of the TV programme QI. I love the programme and have watched it from the very first series back in the early 2000s. Stephen Fry and Alan Davies are two of my favourite people on tv so very excited about that!

It is getting closer to the Take That and Robbie Williams Gig. I am going on 9th July. I've booked a car parking space this week on someone's drive who is 10 minutes walk from the Stadium. It seems to the be the best and cheapest way to sort out the travel there.

Ok so I haven't posted for a long time but I'm at work and am procrastinating! I was just looking at someone elses blog when I remembered mine! I then looked at my list of things to do and got excited (again!!!) about one of them that I will be able to tick of in July.

On July 9 I am going to Wembley to see Take That who of course Robbie Williams has rejoined! I am soooooo lucky that I'm going (well actually more to do with determination than luck as I was online for 10 hours in a queue trying to get the tickets) and I can't wait! I'm going along with my sister and we're going to have a great time!
